  •  i capelli siano sani;
  1. la diagnosi partecipativa;

-          al tipo di prodotto;

-          alla struttura del capello;

-          alla temperatura;

-          all’ondulazione desiderata.

  • e si definisce acida una soluzione con un PH da 0 a 6,9;
  • si definisce basica una soluzione con un PH da 7,1 a 14;

PROCEDURES FOR PERMANENT
In order to do a good job it is important to know the soil (skin and hair) of work in order to avoid breakage and root canal treatment of keratin component, taking into account that you use a product for permanent redox in basic solutions (ammonium thioglycolate) that goes to
transform the sulfur bridges and cystic in SS bridges thanks to this reducing action, it is therefore important to perform a good fitting of curlers, both in section and in parallel sections perpendicular, correctly use the map to wrap the tips of the well sections,

in order to avoid trauma to the same problems with the laying which varies depending on the type of liquid used, and the type of hair, neutralizing properly taking into account the neutralizing agent is an oxidizing acid, and then goes to fix the curl and recompose preferentially retaining the cuticle in the time the permanent executed.
To obtain a good permanent it is necessary that:
 your hair is healthy;
When a modern hairdresser decides to make a permanent because it has already implemented two procedures of analysis very important:
participatory diagnosis;
the technical diagnosis.
To make permanent the ripple hair you must use chemicals capable of modifying the inner structure of keratin. As we have already seen in the previous numbers, the internal structure of the hair (Bark) is formed by a set of fibers wound regularly in a spiral shape, arranged in the longitudinal direction, parallel to each other, and united by transverse ligaments. These ligaments also called decks are of different types: peptide, saline, hydrogen, sulfur, these last also called disulfides or cystic.
The chemicals that are used to obtain the permanent act on the scales of the cuticle and then on the keratin of the cortex by breaking the sulfur bonds, so called because each bond held near two sulfur atoms of two different spirals. This chemical reaction is called reduction. This principle must be understood in its function that has no bearing on the final curl, the latter the result of the action of the curler. In fact, the hair
After the reduction of sulfur bridges, it is ready to take the picture that we want to give him.
So then, at the same time the action of the reducing agent, is required the mechanical action of the curler.
APPLICATION OF LIQUID PERMANENT OR THE SATURATION.
Uniformly distributed and abundant quantity on all the liquid for permanent hair, is very important to achieve a successful result. Instead of the hair, however, the scalp is to be spared from the liquid. In most cases the liquid is applied using the applicator nozzle which fails to hair already wound on the curlers. Alternatively is made to the classic sponge.

There are at least three different methods of application:

Pre-saturation of all hair before you start winding: you do the divisions and then you wrap all the hair eventually becomes saturated again. This technique is not used nearly as long as the shutter speed and the mechanical action of the comb hair softened can alter the keratin
Pre-saturation of small areas (designed to accommodate 4, 6, 10 curlers), before winding: saturates the lock, wrap your hair, then you switch to another strand. After the wrapping, you should saturate the whole. You must start from the area where the hair is thicker and healthier. Usually from the nape.
Long hair should be otherwise Pre-saturated mass wrapped on rollers would leave the tips the liquid later.
Winding without presaturation: they wrap the hair on the curlers after removing the excess water and, at the end of the assembly, is saturated with the liquid. You can start the winding in any area. Not yet softened by permanent hair does not wrap around easily and also it is very easy to forget to sprinkle some curler. If your hair is long, the liquid can not get on the tips.

The time required to change a pose of the ripple can be linked:

- The type of product;

- The structure of the hair;

- The temperature;

- Ripple desired.
Each product shows the shutter speeds. They are calculated with reference to the normal hair and the averages of the minimum and maximum times. Usually the exposure time you start to calculate when the last roller is mounted. During the application, you need a very accurate control because certain factors may influence the activity of much of the reducing agent. Heat accelerates the chemical reaction of the permanent and thus reduces the shutter speed. In some cases, however, the heat can accelerate too much the action of the liquid. Even the high temperature of the rinse water can make it more intense the final action of liquid curling.

While respecting the different opinions of certain hairdressers it should still take note of these chemical and physical reality. There are, in fact, between alcunedifferenze: dry heat (rays), wet heat (steam) heat with air movement (phon).

The only source of heat that can be used successfully (although carefully) is the dry heat as referring to the other two cases, we will have that water vapor would dilute the liquid curling, the movement of the air of the hair dryer would decrease dangerously the percentage of water by evaporation, consequently increasing the concentration of the thioglycolate.

When the color?

When the permanent product specifically requires it. When hair is difficult to perm. When it is necessary to shorten the exposure time. On hair bleached or dyed with lightening products is good not apply heat; The hair can be damaged.

To control the action of the liquid during the exposure time takes off the elastic curler and takes place the lock of one or two turns, taking into neighboring head. If the ripple is too light you can extend a few more minutes the shutter speed, if the ripple is already one you want you can move on to rinse.

The action of thioglycolate ends when rinsing. It 'always necessary to thoroughly rinse the hair because the hair because the reducing substances (thioglycolate) contained in the preparations for the permanent if not eliminated completely cancel out the action of the fixer.

Long ago they used special liquids or maps which in contact with the thioglycolate changed its color to indicate whether or not the chemical action was finished. Today, this type of control is exceeded because all preparations for waving hair have reaction times of well-determined and can easily be removed with a thorough rinsing of warm water. Rinsing the curlers impregnated permanent solution is very important for the success of the service: it comes with plenty of water to remove the greatest possible quantity of chemical to leave the hair free to react with the fixer. The rinsing must be plentiful, although fast, of course, there are times to do so, since the mass and length of hair may require different attention.

After rinsing, without removing the curlers, it is useful to gently pat your hair to absorb water as possible. This simple task can then facilitate the absorption of the fixing solution is unlikely to be absorbed by the hair very wet.

The "chemical work" of the permanent can be outlined:
 Keratin hair fibers are linked by chemical bonds that open under the attention of thioglycolate (ACTION CHEMICAL REDUCTION). The hair takes on a new form.
The pull of those hair wraps and the diameter curved Curler they slide over each other keratin fibers (ACTION MECHANICS).
The oxygen released from the preparation for fixing and solidified in the new form the bonds of keratin. The hair takes on a new form, a permanent wave in time (ACTION CHEMICAL OXIDATION).
It is therefore necessary to rebuild bridges cystic in their new positions.
This important task is called fixing.
This reverse operation to the previous year is due oxidant fixer. The fixator is composed almost always from hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen peroxide.
The oxidizing action of the fixer, precisely oxidizes ie closes, reform and establishing new links between the sulfur of two different spirals. The hair structure is thus restored to its original state but with a new design of ripple, long-lasting.
In recent years there has been substantial development in the market of products permed. We will, in the next chapter, to deal with various types of permanent "built" in different ways, of their "pro" and the inevitable "against" each of their complaint.
The basic principle is always the same and we have seen him, in detail, in the preceding pages.
A reducing substance breaks the sulfur bonds of keratin.
An oxidant reform them in a different position determined by the diameter of the curler.
 The more the diameter of the curler is smaller, "close" will be the curl (therefore more durable - "will last" more).
By contrast, the increase in the diameter of the curler of the spiral swirl "wider" (but the permanent "last" less).
With the exception of permanent acid in all other cases the permanent is "cold", the ammonium thioglycolate and basic salts of the acid thioglycolate were confirmed as the most suitable as reducers. All permanent cold on the market are formulated, basic, with thioglycolates.
This liquid, however, by itself, would not be able to easily penetrate through the cuticle scales. You must find a way to open the scales notoriously tightly sealed, lower on each other. Based on the fact that the basic substances have precisely the function to open the scales.
At this point, the thioglycolate, not Just settle inside: the fibers of the sulfur bonds of the cuticle await him to combine with another chemical reaction. Being very basic, all of these substances have a pH more than 7.

What is Important?
The purpose of this exercise is to make you buy the basic security as regards the division of hair in areas and the winding of the permanent curlers. Please observe the following principles first.

THE PH
substances-hair
It is not an ingredient of a chemical element strange, but a unit of measurement, such as meters or liters. It informs us about the more or less acidity or alkalinity of a solution.
It indicates with a series of numbers ranging from 0 to 13. The 7 corresponds to neutrality. The value of the PH (or power of hydrogen) indicates to us then only the concentration of hydrogen (H) of the mixture.
It has nothing to do with the quality or intensity of action of the product.
Often we think that the pH below 7, ie acid, is synonymous with "friend hair" and that the pH above 7 is basic that is equal to "the enemy" is not always so.
In general we can say that: - the pH is from 0 to 14,
and it defines an acidic solution with a pH of 0 to 6.9;
It is defined as a basic solution with a pH from 7.1 to 14;
the value 7 corresponds to neutral distilled water.

COMPOSITION OF HAIR
The hair consists of three layers:
1st layer: CUTICLE
2nd middle layer consists of cells: BARK
3rd inner layer: BONE (is well-formed only in mature hair).
The cuticle is the first layer of the hair cells from smooth and transparent superimposed on each other, protecting the internal part.
The bark is the second layer of the hair formed by fusiform cells, filled with keratin rich in sulfur.
As these cells are weakened, the hair becomes brittle and breaks easily.
The medulla is the third most inner layer of the hair, composed of numerous dead cells and empty arranged one upon the other.

The area of the bone is easily accessible by chemicals which are coloring agents,
